Next KWGA activity: Tuesday Oct 3
Tues Oct 3: KWGA18 “Ace of Aces” on Forest.
Shotgun start: 9:00am.
• Check-in at the tent from 8:00 to 8:40am.
• Two-stroke penalty to be applied to your starting hole if you Check-in late.
• Bring your quarters if you wish to join in any of the 3 pots (Low putts/CTP/chip in). 50 cents each pot.
• If you did not put money in the Closest To Pin (CTP) pot, PLEASE DO NOT put your name on the marker sign at the hole.

Tues Oct 17: KWGA18 “Evens” on Marsh.
Tues Oct 24: Pink Event on Lake with luncheon- the 18 & 9 hole leagues will combine to raise money for the Project Mammogram charity.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES for PGA Jr. League matches
October 14-15 and October 28-29
KCC is reaching out to members to volunteer as scorers for the PGA Jr. league matches to be held at KCC on the following dates: October 14-15 and October 28-29. There are 8 matches played on each of the dates beginning at 3 p.m (shotgun start). Only nine holes are played, so it is usually over between 5-5:30. Two person teams play each other in a match play scramble format. The juniors are in the 13 and under age group. If you are interested in volunteering to score for one or more of these matches, please email Bette McDermott at ejmcd75@gmail.com and she will get back to you with further information. You will receive one volunteer point for each time you score.

Gretchen Haught Celebration of Life
There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday October 22 at the Lakeside Terrace Pavilion from 12:00 - 2:00 PM. This will be an informal gathering for Family and Friends to provide an opportunity to pay respects and share their memories and relationships with Gretchen. A memory can be shared on the Obituary Web Site.
