KWGA Member Guest Tournament was May 23 - 24, 2023.

The annual Spring Fling with theme Bees, Butterflies and Birdies was a huge success!

It was a full field of 96 players and the field was full of color with teams wearing matching outfits, same colors or festive headwear to build team spirit. Every Tee box was decorated with Bees, Butterflies, Birdies, Flowers or Pinwheels. At the entrance we were greeted with the KWGA Spring Fling Banner, and a cart decorated with Flowers, Bees and Balloons was the perfect backdrop for team pictures taken by a photographer. Everyone received a Tee gift which was a commemorative Towel, cart breeze stick, a cart phone caddy and a sleeve of balls in our carts. There was make your own goodies bag, drink tickets for the cocktail party, two wonderful lunches, and delicious breakfast tacos Wed morning. There were Raffle prizes, Silent Auction items, SKINS to partake in, chances for Closest to the Pin, Land on the Flower challenge, door prizes and the much appreciated gift of the Bumblebee drive on #17 Wednesday. The weather cooperated and we had 2 lovely days of Two Best Ball Shamble format golf with friends!

Many thanks, pat on the backs and smiles go to the committee for all of their planning to put on this fun event! Patti Kramer, Ginger Dieter, Brenda Candelet, Maryrose LeBus, Kristin Shelton, Annette Wood. You are AWESOME!!!

And while we are talking AWESOME, COK staff provided FANTASTICK support throughout the event; Dick Smith Jr, Tim Lovell and Stewart Pilgrim took good care of us from check-in on Tues to managing our carts overnight through scoring tabulation on Wed. Maintenance got the Forest course in great shape to play and to the Chef and Wait staff-everyone loved the food and drink!
