April 18, 2023: Playday game “Choose a Partner – Best Ball” on the Lake. Choose a partner when you sign up or you will be matched with someone if you sign up solo.

April 18 - Partners Best Ball - Island Front
Golf Genius will randomly pick your partner. You do not need to pick a partner. You will be paired and play with the person G.G. picks for you.
This will be played as a Shamble. G.G. will pick the lowest net ball for each hole. The low gross score for each hole isn't always the lowest net score.

April 25, 2023: Playday game “Lucky 4’s” on the Forest * share course with 9-Hole league. This is also a Guest Day that your guest only pays cart fees. This also is the same course that the Member Guest will be held on May 23-24 so it could be a practice round for your Guest.
May 2, 2023: Playday game “Ace of Ace's - Marsh
May 9, 2023: Senior/ Super Senior Tournament and General Meeting at 08:30.

The 2023 Yearbook is published and being distributed. If you haven’t received a copy yet they will be available at upcoming Playdays and the May 9, 2023 General meeting.

Next General Meeting Reminder – Mark your calendar!
May 9, 2023 - General Meeting will start at 08:30am.
Note: Check-in time is different on General Meeting days
9-Hole League Check-in on May 9: 8:00-8:20am.
18-Hole League Check-in on May 9: 7:40-8:20am.
Play will start 15 minutes after end of meeting.
Both 9-Hole and 18-Hole Leagues will each hold their Senior/ Super Senior Tournament. There is no charge for this Tournament. Everyone plays no matter their age and is eligible for regular Playday winnings. But one Senior (55-69) and one Super Senior (70+) from each League will win low net. Those winners are kept secret until announced at the Year End Awards Brunch.
Use Caution in Parking Lot
It’s Tuesday morning. Maybe you woke up late, then hit every red light and now you are in the parking lot, but still in a hurry to make it to Check-in so you don’t get the 2-stroke penalty for being late. Thinking about something from last night? Wondering who you will be playing with today? Did I bring quarters for the pots? Yikes! I almost hit a fellow golfer walking towards the Pro Shop!
There is a lot of activity going on in our parking lot. Cars, carts, delivery trucks and pedestrians, all moving in different directions. Use caution. Watch for pedestrians.
CHEVRON LPGA OPEN
The Chevron Championship is one of the five Major championships of professional women’s golf and it will take place April 17th - April 23rd, 2023, at The Club at Carlton Woods - Nicklaus Course in The Woodlands, Texas.

Tickets are available for just one day or for all days.
You may see some fellow KWGA members that will be volunteers at the event and definitely some very notable women golfers.
