ABOUT THE COURSE
Maybe you’ve played some of the legendary courses of Scotland, such as St. Andrews, Muirfield or Royal Troon. If you have, you’ll enjoy the comparison. If you haven’t, you’ll encounter a game of golf like no other. At The Tribute Golf Links, golf is an event, and everything is designed to give you, your customers or your tournament players an experience unlike anything they’ve had before. The Tribute is a true links course, modeled after the legendary courses of Scotland. Designed by renowned golf architect Tripp Davis, The Tribute’s 18 holes mirror some of the most famous and challenging holes of the Scottish links. The course features the finest elements of traditional Scottish golf, including windswept dunes, sea-washed grasses and challenging water hazards.
Go ahead. Immerse yourself in an atmosphere as historic as the grand tradition surrounding the British Open Championship. From the beautiful 33,000-square-foot Scottish-designed clubhouse (perfect for weddings or functions of all sizes) to the legendary links, it’s like stepping back in time to experience a place not found anywhere but Scotland itself. The Tribute Golf Links is an unforgettable place to spend time with friends, toasting the day’s events and the victories won, while reliving and paying tribute to the great players and historic monuments in Open Championship lore.
FORMAT
18-hole stroke play championship. All entries are on a first come, first served basis. A sudden death on-course playoff will be held to determine winners of any flight that is tied after 18 holes, weather and course availability permitting.
Entry Fee: $145
Field Size : 60 Players
Entry Deadline: TUESDAY JUNE 20th @11:00 PM CST - there will a $20 late fee added to any registration that takes place after the entry deadline, subject to approval by the Tour Director
Includes: 18 holes of golf w/ cart, range balls, prize fund for top finishers (25-30%) in each flight, tournament setup & scoring
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Registration / Check-In: 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM
All participants must check-in with the tournament committee AT LEAST 20 minutes prior to their scheduled tee off time. Players will have the opportunity to enter into the optional $20 skins and/or $10 giant skins games (cash only) at this time.
Starting Times: STARTING OFF 1ST TEE AT 11:30 AM
Starting times/pairings will typically be emailed to each participant and posted on the tournament webpage 48 hours in advance of the tournament.
Awards Ceremony: 4:00pm-6:30pm
