Preliminary Rounds Draw

 

A total of 14 clubs, in addition to the current holders Newport Golf Club & hosts Pyle & Kenfig Golf Club will progress to the Finals. As a result of the number of entries per region relative to the total number of entries, the following number of teams from each group will qualify: 

 

Group A:  2  clubs    Group B:  4 clubs    Group C:   8 clubs 

 

PRELIMINARY ROUNDS

 

Agreeing Matches: Equal responsibility lies with both clubs regarding contact to agree matches. If no mutual agreement is reached regarding the date of any match, the match shall be played at 2.30pm on the last qualifying date. If matches are not played by the specified dates, both teams will be scratched, subject to the right of the Chairman of the Championship Committee to grant a walkover to one of them.
