Membership in the MGA is only $40.00 per year; prorated quarterly.
The MGA is dedicated to maximizing the enjoyment of your Bentwater Country Club golf membership through the planning and hosting of Golf Tournaments, Play Days, Interclubs and other Social Activities for our Members. Our aim is to involve men of all skill levels in our activities and promote social interaction among our members.
The MGA presents a Hole-in-One plaque to all MGA Members obtaining a hole-in-one at Bentwater. If you shoot your age, your name will be inscribed on a plaque displayed in the men's locker room (one per year). There is also recognition for an Albatross.
The information below will help you learn more about the MGA or you can contact the MGA Board to assist in answering questions.
MGA Play Days
The MGA Play Days will be on most Fridays (2025 Play Day Schedule). The MGA has reserved Tee Times for 20 players starting at 8:00 AM from May - September and 9:00 AM other times of the year. You can must register online by putting your name on the tee sheet in order to guarantee yourself a spot in Play Day.
To register for the MGA's "Friday Play Days", visit www.bentwater.com, log in, and visit the Tournament Tab on the "Weiskopf/Miller Tee Times". This is where you can make "MGA Play Day" tee times. Otherwise, you can just show up on the putting green and join in the fun, although you are not guaranteed a spot if you just show up.
The MGA hosts three (3) Special Play Days each year where the Board contributes extra prize money to the events. In order to qualify for the Special Play Days, players must earn a minimum number of points from a combination of participation in Play Days (1 point per Play Day) and participation in Senior Interclub events (1/2 point per Senior Interclub Event).

Tournaments/Handicaps/Bentwater Handicap Committee
The MGA hosts a variety of Tournaments throughout the year. You can find a complete list of tournaments under the "Tournaments" tab at the top of the page.
The MGA Board wants to let everyone know that the Board supports the reactivated Bentwater Handicap Committee (BHC). The function of the BHC is to review a player's Handicap Index on a regular basis to ensure it continues to reflect a demonstrated ability. In order to participate in MGA Tournaments, you MUST carry an active GHIN handicap at Bentwater. Additionally, any player with a Cap Score under 50 in Cap Patrol is required to play at the recommended Competion Index in any and all competitive play as long as their Cap Score remains below 50
