Preferred Lies

Model Local Rule E-3 (Preferred Lies on all grass cut to fairway height) is in operation (Relief Area is within 6 inches not nearer the hole.)

 

Out of Bounds

When playing Hole 7, Out of Bounds on the Left-Hand Side is beyond the left-most edge of the path (white stakes are for indication purposes).

When playing hole 9, the white stakes to the left-hand side and behind the ninth green are for indication purposes. The boundary is defined by the kerbed edge of the roadway (on the course side).

When playing Hole 18, Out of Bounds includes the clubhouse building and adjacent terracing, the flagpole area and surrounding paving, and flower beds and planted areas adjoining the clubhouse. The main car park is out of bounds.

 

Immovable Obstructions: Includes safety net on the left-hand side of Hole 16.

 

Protection of Young Trees: Young Trees marked by stakes and ties are no play zones in accordance with the provisions of the Golf Ireland Hard Card.

 

Designated practice areas: Practice is permitted before or between rounds in the following locations:

• On the club practice grounds, including to the right and left of the main driveway (please note these may be closed if overflow parking requirements dictate)
• On the practice putting greens
• On the practice greens behind the clubhouse (in the marked areas)

Score Recording Area: Inside the front entrance of the clubhouse and first door on the right. All players MUST proceed to this location IMMEDIATELY after the conclusion of their round.
