TOURNAMENT DATE: Thursday, May 11th
DIRECTIONS: Take I-275 to Ford Road. Go west on Ford Road 3 miles to Canton Center Road. Go south on Canton Center Road, then west on Summit Parkway.

PRACTICE ROUND: Please contact the golf shop for rates and availability, (734) 397-6460. Contestants must call in advance to reserve a tee time and identify themselves as Michigan Amateur Qualifier contestants.
GAM DRESS CODE: Shirts with collars and sleeves are required; however, women may wear collarless shirts with sleeves or sleeveless shirts with collars. Tank tops, tee shirts, short shorts, gym shorts, cut-offs, bathing suits, denim pants/shorts are not permitted. Players and caddies are expected to adhere to the dress code.
FOOD: The clubhouse will have food available for purchase.
GPS AND RANGE FINDERS: In this competition, if a player uses a distance-measuring device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect his/her play, AND USES IT FOR THOSE OTHER CONDITIONS, the player is in breach of Rule 4.3, for which the penalty is TWO STROKES for the first breach of this rule and DISQUALIFICATION for a subsequent breach during the stipulated round.
STATE AMATEUR RESIDENCY: To be eligible to play in the Michigan Amateur Championship and its qualifiers, a player must meet the GAM Residency Criteria. A player is responsible for reviewing and confirming compliance with the criteria. If you feel your Michigan residency may be in question, please contact the GAM. To guarantee a thorough review, contact the GAM at least two weeks prior to the entry deadline. In the event a residency question is presented later than that time, the GAM reserves the right to remove a player from the field at any time.
CADDIES/CARTS: All players are required to walk. Caddies are permitted. Pull carts may be used if the host club allows them. Spectator carts are only allowed with a doctor’s note. The doctor’s note should be e-mailed to tournaments@gam.org.
PRACTICE RANGE: Practice range is complementary for players prior to round only.
PLAYOFF: In case of ties, there will be a playoff immediately following play for the final spot as well as the order for the two (2) alternate positions
WITHDRAWAL: If you must withdraw prior to the entry deadline, please cancel your registration through Golf Genius by going to the Golf Genius portal and editing your registration. If you must withdraw after the entry deadline, please notify the GAM by e-mailing tournaments@gam.org. Failure to notify may result in suspension from future GAM competitions.
