Practice Rounds: A courtesy practice round is available for all competitors. Each competitor is limited to one courtesy practice round. If players choose to use a cart during their practice round, a cart fee of $22 plus tax will be charged. Golf carts are permitted during practice rounds ONLY; carts are prohibited during the competition. Practice round availablity will be limited to Monday May 7 through Friday May 11. Players must call in advance and schedule a tee time with the golf shop. If players are unable to play a practice round during the alloted window, competitiors will be allowed to walk the competition course Sunday, May 13th, without clubs after 3:00 pm.

Starting Times: Play will begin at 7:30am off the first tee.
Withdrawals: Please advise the Mass Golf office immediately at (774) 430-9016 if you are unable to compete. Failure to advise the Mass Golf office may disqualify the player from future USGA competition. If there is a need to call the Mass Golf office after the close of business on Friday, May 11th, please call Laura Nochta at (513) 800-7948 [leave a message] or via email at lnochta@massgolf.org.
Qualifying & Alternate Spots Available: 3 qualifying spots, 2 alternates
Distance Devices: The use of distance measuring devices is prohibited. Penalty for breach of this condition: Two stroke penalty for the first breach, Disqualification for second Breach of Rule 14-3.
Automotive Transportation: The use of automotive transportation will NOT be permitted. Pull/push carts will be permitted.
Caddies: Caddies are permitted during the competition. Stockbridge CC does not have caddies. Players should be prepared to bring their own if they choose to use one.
Golf Ball: The One-Ball Rule will be in effect. See Appendix I of the Rules of Golf.
Competition Tees/ Yardage: The competition will be played from the silver tees at approximately 6600 yards. The 15th hole will be played as a par 4, making the qualifying course to be a par 70. Please also note that the 10th tee will be set up from the white tee box of the 5th hole.
Golf Shop, Locker Room: Open and available at 6:30am. Lunch will be available for purchase in the club's restaurant starting at 11:00 am, cash or credit is accepted.
Practice Range: The small warm up range at Stockbridge CC will closed on the day of competition. If players wish to warm up at another location, Cranwell Resort has a full service driving range and is located about 10-15 minutes from Stockbridge CC. They will be open at 6:30 am on May 14th - the cost for balls is $5/small and $10/large.

Dress Code: Please observe the USGA dress code as stated in the U.S. Open Championship application.
*Please also review the 2018 USGA Hard Card and other policies located under the tab labled "USGA Policies" prior to competion.
*There will be no regsitration on the day of the event - please report to your scheduled starting hole to recieve local rules, scorecard, etc. 10-15 minutes prior to your starting time.
