Registration Opens: Friday, March 23, 2018 at 09:00 AM

Registration Closes: Monday, June 25, 2018 at 09:50 AM

 

Entry Fee: $160. Carts and range balls are included in entry fee.  

 

Format:  54 holes stroke play.  The field will be cut after second round on Monday to the low 40 and ties.  In the event that we have a field with less than 80 players, we will cut to the low 50% and ties.  There are no refunds for those players who do not make the cut.

 

Field Size: 84 players maximum

 

Schedule:

Monday, July 9: Double Tee from 7:30am – 9:30am AND Double Tee from 12:30pm-2:30pm

Tuesday, July 10: Single Tee from7:30am – 9:30am – 18 holes

 

Eligibility: All amateur UGA members who have a single digit (9.9 or less) index as of June 1st and are 25 years of age or older as of the first day of competition are eligible to compete.Masters division concurrently. Players 50 years of age or older as of the first day of competition will also be competing in the Senior division concurrently. 

 

Flight Information:  All players will be competing for the Mid-Amateur Championship.  Players 40 years of age or older as of the first day of competition will also be competing in the

 

Practice Rounds: May be scheduled after June 20th in the window of June 25-July 8.  (Practice rounds will be unavailable on July 4th) The practice round rate will be $60.

 

State Amateur Exemptions:

  • Last three champions
  • Last two runner-ups
  • 3rd-5th Place in 2017
  • Low Masters in 2017
  • Low Senior in 2017

 

Refunds and Withdrawals:  If a player withdrawals prior to the registration deadline the player will receive a refund minus a $20 cancellation fee.  After the deadline the player will receive a 50% refund.  No refunds will be issued if a player withdraws/no-shows on the day of the event. A business day starts at 12:01 am of that day.   In team competitions, if a player needs a substitute for his original partner after the field has closed; he must arrange to get the substitute. Any substitute must meet all eligibility requirements of the specified competition. The UGA must be notified of any substitutions prior to the start of the tournament.
