Craws Nest Tassie 2023

 

 

 

 

The Craw’s Nest Tassie is a week long open event, celebrating the true spirit of the amateur game and in 2023 will be played on The Carnoustie Championship Course and The Carnoustie Buddon Course from Monday 1st May – Saturday 6th May. The practice day for the event is Sunday 30th April.

 

The first two rounds of the event will be a 36-hole Stroke Play qualifying competition, held over two days (Monday 1st May & Tuesday 2nd May) across both courses. After the 36-hole qualifying competition, players with the top 64 scratch scores, will then go on to compete in a Scratch Match Play knockout event for The Craws Nest Tassie (Wednesday 3rd May – Saturday 6th May) over The Championship Course. Subsequently, the following next best 64 nett scores will go on to compete in a Handicap Match Play knockout event for The Maulesbank Trophy (Wednesday 3rd May – Saturday 6th May) over The Buddon Course (Wednesday/Thursday) and The Championship Course (Friday/Saturday).  The remaining 220 players who have not qualified for the Match Play events will be invited to participate in our consolation competitions held on Wednesday 3rd May and Thursday 4th May, again over both courses. This competition is open to male golfers with a handicap index of 18.4 or below.

 

Entry* for The 2023 Craws Nest Tassie will open on 7th November 2022 at 1pm and will cost £375 (£200 for Season Ticket Holders). Entry is inclusive of a £40 complimentary voucher to use in The Rookery Restaurant during the week of the competition.
