Tuesday, June 12th – 18 hole event
Groupings & Starting Times
Starting times begin at 7:30 a.m. on Hole #1. Please Note: All times are Eastern Daylight Time.
Practice Round
There is not an official practice round for this event. If a player would like to play the course in advance, they may contact the Golf Shop for available options.

There are numerous hotels in the area with a variety of rates. To find what best suites your needs look online at

Registration
Please check in at your starting tee 5 minutes before your starting time. At the starting tee, you will receive Notice to Players, Hole Location sheet and any special instructions. Note, there is not a call to the tee; it is the player’s responsibility to arrive on time.
Skins Game
There is an optional Skins Game for players. If you wish to participate, please pay the staff member at the registration table. The Skins Games are being conducted for both the gross and the net competitions. The fees are $10 for gross scoring and $10 for net scoring except the Open Division. The Open Division is only using a gross scoring system and the skins game fee is $20.
Food & Beverage:
The clubhouse facilities will have food and beverage services available. Cash or charge cards are accepted for payment. The clubhouse will open at 7:30 a.m. for snacks, coffee, soft drinks, etc.
General Information:
The Rules of the United States Golf Association govern play. This information sheet, the GHK hard card and any site-specific Local Rules and Conditions of Competition sheets are supplements to the Rules of Golf. Local Rules of the host course do not apply. The KGA Tournament Committee & Rules Oversight Committee, who is charged with conducting event, shall settle all questions. Reference to the Rules and Appendix I may be found in the 2016-2018 Rules of Golf Book. Unless otherwise noted the penalty for breach of a Local Rule or Condition is: 2 Strokes.
Distance-Measuring Devices:
Distance Measuring Devices are allowed for this event.
Pace of Play Guidelines and Procedures:
An appropriate pace of play is important for the enjoyment of the event for everyone. A time par will be established for the event. Groups are expected to play within that time par. More importantly, each group is expected to maintain the pace with the group in front of them.
Player/Caddie Carts:
Golf carts are included in the entry, a maximum of two carts per group is allowed. If a player chooses to walk, pull/push carts are allowed.
Spectator Carts
Spectator carts are not allowed for this event.
Caddies:
Caddies are permitted for this event.
Practice Range:
The practice range opens approximately one hour before the first starting time, weather permitting. Range balls will be set up at the practice range and are complimentary for competitors.
Withdrawals:
If you need to withdraw any time after 4:00 p.m. on April 16th, please email Brad Martin at bmartin@kygolf.org.
Attire & Conduct:
Proper golf attire is required. Blue jeans, designer jeans, tee shirts, and tank tops are prohibited. Shorts must be mid-thigh. Golf shirts with a traditional or mock collar are required. The host club is a “spikeless facility.”
Close of Competition:
The competition shall be deemed to have closed when all scores have been returned and the committee has approved the results.
