Alfred Dunhill Schools Challenge

Following the success of last year’s Alfred Dunhill Schools’ Challenge and the high standard of golf displayed by the contestants, we would like to invite students from schools across the country to participate in this year’s competition.

 

Location: Carnoustie Golf Links 

Course: Carnoustie Buddon Course

Date: Sunday, 18th September 2021

Tee Times: From 8:00am

 

The main competition will be decided by one 18-hole Stroke Play round, with the player returning the lowest net score in each category being declared the winner. Competitors will play off their full handicap in four separate divisions:

 

Junior Boy (S1-S3)

Junior Girl (S1-S3)

Senior Boy (S4-S6)

Senior Girl (S4-S6)

 

In addition, there will be an overall Scratch Prize for the lowest gross score across all four divisions.

 

The Alfred Dunhill Schools’ Challenge winners will be presented with their prizes at a special Awards Ceremony in St Andrews on 2nd October, the final Sunday of this year’s Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, which will be played from 29th September – 2nd October. All students competing in the event, together with their parents and a school representative, will be given complimentary passes for the final day and invited to an exclusive Golf Clinic on the Championship Practice Ground conducted by the internationally renowned golf coach Robert Baker.
