INFORMATION

You should arrive at your assigned tee at least ten (10) minutes prior to your scheduled starting time for instructions from the starter.

QUALIFIER DATE: Tuesday, August 16

LODGING: Holiday Inn – 21500 West Road, Woodhaven (734) 362-0933. 

PRACTICE ROUND: Please contact the golf shop for rates and availability, (734) 676-1944.  Contestants must call in advance to reserve a tee time and identify themselves as U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur Qualifier contestants.

FOOD:  The clubhouse will have food available for purchase.

CADDIES/CARTS: All players are required to walk. Contestants may carry their own bag or bring their own caddie. Caddies must also walk. Carts are not permitted for caddies. Spectator carts are not allowed at USGA Qualifiers.

PRACTICE RANGE: Because of limited practice facilities at West Shore G&CC, the practice range at nearby Grosse Ile G&CC will be available.

PLAYOFF:  In case of ties, there will be a playoff immediately following play for the final spot as well as the order for the two (2) alternate positions

WITHDRAWAL: If you must withdraw, please contact the USGA at (908) 234-2300 leading up to the tournament. If you must withdraw the night or weekend before then please contact the GAM at tournaments@gam.golf. In the e-mail please state your name, the event you are withdrawing from, and your reason for withdrawing. Within 24 hours of the start of the tournament, players may also call the GAM Office at 248-478-9242 ext 124 to withdraw from the event. Failure to notify may result in suspension from future USGA and GAM competitions.
