This year’s 2-man team event will be a single elimination bracket event consisting of 32 teams, NOT the complicated round robin format of last year. 

 

The scoring format is the same as last year. Team matches will consist of 3 simultaneous matches, one team better ball and two singles matches. Each team match is worth 6 points, 2 for each singles match and 2 for the better ball match. Matches will be played at 100% player handicap, wheeling of the low man in each match, better ball and singles. It is best to have 2 scorecards available, one to dot strokes in the better ball match and one to dot strokes in the singles matches. 

 

If there is a tie at the end of the match, tiebreaker will be combined player A & B and Team result in a scorecard playoff beginning on the #1 handicap hole. If there is a tie on the #1 handicap hole then the #2 handicap hole would decide the match, and so on until a winner is determined. 

 

There will be an email with a sign-up link on 5/20. The link will go live at 6:00 pm on 5/22. Sign-up will be first come, first served and brackets will posted on or about 5/27. Please select a team captain to sign up and pay for your team to avoid duplication. 

 

The entry fee for the event is $60/team and cash payouts are, $250/team for 3rd & 4th, $500 for runner up team and $900 to the winning team. 

 

Play can commence immediately after the bracket is published and matches are to be completed by the following dates:

 

June 17 - Round 1  

July 15 - Round 2 (Round of 16)

August 5 - Round 3 (Round of 8) 

August 26 - Round 4 (Semi-Final)

September 16 - Final

 

 

Last year's event filled up within 5 minutes. If you do not get in, email me immediately and I add you to a waiting list in case a team drops out.
