Golf Genius Passwords and how they work
Generally, you can access most pages in Golf Genius without a Golf Genius ID and password. Golf Genius does require that a member be signed in with an ID and password to access certain features, however.
You will need to be signed in to:
- Sign up for an event. This includes monthly tournaments and board meetings. You will be providing information for sign-up specific to you, and no one but yourself can sign you up.
- Edit your event registration. This may include changing a tee selection or canceling your participation, for example.
- View events for which you have signed up.
- View any private information that is available to members only.
- Use the mobile app without using a GGID.
In general, you will have one master ID and password that Golf Genius uses for all your leagues and events. The ID will be your email. As with most systems, you will create a password and verify it as part of setting up your master account. It is possible to have different emails for different Golf Genius accounts, but you will need to sign out and sign back in with the appropriate email to access password-protected functions. You will also notice that your customer center or mobile app will not show all of your leagues and events; only the ones relating to the email you used for sign-in. If you would like to consolidate all your golf genius emails into one single ID, use the orange help button at the side of this page to reach our techincal support.
If you are already a Golf Genius user at your current club, you can log in to NASMGA using the same email address and password you use there.
One note of caution. Your ID is your email address, not a GGID. A GGID is typically used to provide a direct link to access a league or event without signing in. If you inadvertently enter a GGID into the email field as an ID, you will receive an error message.
