Tournament Information
Date: Monday, October 8, 2018
Time: 9:00 am Shotgun Start with lunch immediately following completion of play
Location: Lake Quivira Country Club

Entry Fee: $180 per team ($90 per player) includes golf, cart, range balls, prizes and lunch
Additional Fees: $5 mulligans (max 1 per player) may be paid at the time of registration or on-site
Team/Player Limit: 36 teams (72 players)
Entries Open: March 1, 2018
Entries Close: October 1, 2018 or when full
Holes 1-6: Four-Ball Stroke Play at 95% handicap (if the difference in handicap between teammates is more than 8 strokes, both players will be reduced by an additional 10%)
Holes 7-12: Foursomes (Chapman Alternate Shot) - both players drive, Player A hits her partner's drive and Player B hits her partner's drive, select the best shot and alternate strokes until the ball is holed. Teams will receive 60% of the A player's handicap and 40% of the B player's handicap.
Holes 13-18: Scramble - teams will receive 35% of the A player's handicap ad 15% of the B player's handicap.
Eligibility
Open to women who are members of the Kansas Golf Association or the Kansas City Golf Association and are 18 years of age or older and not currently in high school.
Flights
Flights will be formed after entries have closed based on the combined team handicap index. The number of flights and the spread of handicaps within each flight will be based upon the number of teams in the event. Gross and Net prizes will be awarded in each flight.
Refunds
Refunds made before the closing date will be refunded less a $20 administrative fee.
Refunds made after the closing date but and more than 48 hours before the start of the event will receive 50% of the entry fee.
No refunds are available for teams that withdraw less than 48 hours prior to the start of the event.
Prizes
Winners will receive gift certificates to the Lake Quivira Country Club golf shop. The prize payout for gross and net prizes in each flight will be based on number of entries. All ties will be broken using the USGA recommendation (last 9, last 6, last 3, last 1).
Practice Rounds
Practice rounds are available, but not included in the entry fee. Practice rounds are available after noon on the weekends and before 11am/after 1pm on Fridays. Green Fee = $45, Cart Fee = $18. Contact the Golf Shop at Lake Quivira Country Club to schedule. (913) 631-7707
Rules of Golf; Close of Competition
Play will be governed by The Rules of Golf as approved by the USGA. Questions will be settled by the on-site Rules Committee, whose decision will be final. The competition is deemed to be closed when the awards ceremony has been completed.
Equipment
All golf balls and clubs must conform to USGA specifications. Any unusual equipment or devices, such as gloves, unusual tees, alignment aids, braces, and the like are prohibited by The Rules of Golf.
Distance-Measuring Devices
Distance-measuring devices are permitted so long as they measure distance only.
Dress Code; Footwear
Proper golf attire is required. Jeans, halter tops, tank tops, and athletic t-shirts are not permitted. Shoes with metal spikes are not permitted.
Transportation
Golf carts are available for all players and are included in the entry fee. The host facility may choose to make carts available to spectators subject to availability, but this is not guaranteed. Cart rules during the competition are subject to the discretion of the golf course superintendent at the host facility based on course conditions and may change without notice at any time during the competition.
