Eligibility
All competitors must be female amateurs and KGA/KCGA member. Mid Am Division is open to female amateurs who are age 25 or older by the first day of the championship. Senior Amateur is open to female amateurs who are age 50 or older by the first day of the championship. Super Senior Amateur is open to female amateurs who are age 70 or older by the first day of the championship.
Entry Fee and Deadline
$175. Deadline for entry is Tuesday, June 12th at 4:00 pm.
Format
36 holes of individual stroke play with gross and net scoring. Champion to be determined in each division. The event may be shortened to 18 holes if weather cancels either round. Gift certificates from the host club will be awarded in amounts to be determined based on the number of total entries within each division.
Divisions
Three divisions:
- MidAm (age 25 & older)
- Senior (age 50 & older)
- Super Senior (age 70 & older)
Carts, Spectators and Caddies
Carts are included for both rounds of the championship as part of your entry fee (practice round not included--see above). Only two carts are allowed per starting time. Spectators and caddies are always welcome at KGA Championships.
Practice Rounds
- Available on Monday, June 18th after 2pm
- Fees: $50 green fee, $20 cart fee
- Practice rounds are available for competitors only. Caddies may accompany a player, but will not be permitted to play
- The host club will pair players at its discretion to maximize use of the available starting times for both competitors and member play
Ties
A playoff will be conducted in the event of a tie for first place gross in the Mid-Am Division, Super Senior Division, and the Senior Overall championship. All other ties will be split.
Weather
Every effort will be made to conduct a 36-hole championship. In the event the course is not playable for 36 holes, prizes will be awarded based on one completed round.
