Welcome to the Men's Wednesday Night League

 

 

 

 

 

TGC is excited to offer Social Members and Full Golf Members the opportunity to play in a Bi-Weekly Wednesday evening golf league.  This is a great opportunity for our Social Members and Full Golf Members to experience a fun atmosphere in a golf league setting. The patio, bar/grill will be open following your league round for your enjoyment.

 

Men's Wednesday Night League Details

 

  • The league will be limited to the first 36 participants (18 teams) to sign up.
  • The league will be bi-weekly and be a total of 9 weeks.
  • Men will begin on April 27th at 5:30 PM and conclude on August 17th.
  • The cost to participate for Social Members is $35 for 9 holes (cart fee is included) per week for 9 weeks ($315.00).
  • The League fee is $50.00 for Social and Full Golf Members.
  • Handicap service is required and the fee is $38 per player.
  • Full Golf Members do not pay green fees. Full Members must pay the league fee and the handicap fee if you don't already have one.
  • All green and league fees will be billed to your house account after you have signed up. The league fee will be used for the dinner and prizes at the end of the league.

League Format & Scoring

 

The League format will be 1 Best Ball of 2. Week 5 will be a mid-league 2 person scramble against the field, handicapped. Must use 3 tee shots from each player.

Optional skins game each night of League, $10 to get in. This is to be paid in the ProShop prior to the start of each League night.

 

There will be 18 points available in each round of 9 played in the league. The lowest combined partner score or total scramble score will be awarded 2 points per hole, ties will receive 1 point and a loss is 0. The team with the most points at the end of the League will win first place. The second and third highest point winners will earn 2nd and 3rd place respectively.

 

Questions and Answers

 

Q: Can I play a few holes or a practice round prior to my league round?

 

A: Full Members are allowed too, but Social Members will not be permitted prior to your round on league night.

 

Q: Can I use the range prior to my league?

 

A: Yes, you can hit balls 30 minutes prior to your league start time but not after your league round. There are no range restrictions for Full Members.

 

Q: If I am a Social League Member can I play in the TGC Member events throughout the season?

 

A: No, Social League Members will only be permitted to play in the Bi-Weekly Wednesday night league for the period of 9 weeks.

 

Q: Do the league fees or league green fees count toward my monthly minimums?

 

A: No.

 

Q: Is bag storage or the use of a locker available to Social League Members?

 

A: Lockers will not be available to Social League Members. Social Members may purchase bag storage, the cost for bag storage during the golf season is $100.00

 

Q: If I play in the Social League will I still be permitted to play the four rounds of golf at the member guest rate that are included in the Social Membership?

 

A: Yes, you will be permitted to play up to four rounds throughout the season at the member guest rate. A round of golf is either 9 or 18 holes.

 

Q: If I am a Social 9, Social 9-18, or Social 18 member, will the rounds count against my membership? 

 

A: No, the league rounds will not count toward your membership rounds, but your prepaid round cannot be used for the league. You will have to pay the green fees of $315.00, $50.00 League fee, and $38.00 Handicap Service if you don't have one.
