Welcome to the 2022 Ryder Cup! An annual friendly yet spirited rivalry between Ohio and KY/IN! The Cup crossed the Ohio this year and makes its debut in a 2-day format with Fuzzy Zoeller’s Champions Pointe and Covered Bridge playing host!
Unique and new this year is to offer players a chance to compete in Saturday 2 man matches or Sunday Singles; or play in both! Your choice as we hope to make this conveniently and give everyone a shot to represent their home state!
Saturday will be played at Champions Pointe and feature 2 Man matches where you will be paired up in a Front 9 Best Ball and B9 Modified Alternate Shot format.
- Best Ball: A great way to warm up by simply playing your own ball from tee to green and taking the bets score of you or your partner on the hole.
- Modified Alternate Shot: Both you and your partner will tee off and then decide which tee ball you prefer to play. If you choose Player A tee ball, then Player B will hit next and then you both alternate until the ball is in the hole or conceded.
Each Nine in this format will be worth 1 point per team with the most holes won determining the winner. A ½ point will be awarded for any ties.
Sunday will be played at Covered Bridge and feature Singles Matches where you will be paired against a player in the same flight or within 3-4 strokes of you to keep the competition fair. Our intention is to have these18 hole matches even but if we have to give a stroke or 2 to keep it fair we will.
This 18-hole match is worth one point and will be the final factor in determining the Ryder Cup!
Entry is $125 per day if you choose to play one day.
Entry is $200 if you play both days.
You can sign up for Saturday, Sunday, or both days when registering.
Each player will earn a tee gift for participating with your entry along with a drink ticket each day to hang out and celebrate your success and or enjoy in the camaraderie.
Prize Pool:
Captains will host the trophy with their team on Sunday! All winning team members will get a $25 Tour Credit Challenge Coin per point so could win up to $75!
Team MVP award for each side.
On Course daily contests will also be available for fun!
