Welcome to the 2022 NSGA Jaguar Land Rover Halifax Junior Girls/Boys Championship!

We are excited to execute this event at the beautiful River Hills Golf & Country Club from July 4 to 6, 2022.

FIELD SIZE: The field will be limited to 144 competitors

REGISTRATION OPENS: April 1, 2022 - 9:00am

REGISTRATION CLOSES: June 24, 2022 - 9:00pm

REGISTRATION FEE:

U19 - $185 (HST included)

U17 - $185 (HST included)

U15 - $155 (HST included)

U13 - $155 (HST included)

PRACTICE ROUND: Included in the registration fee.  Call the ProShop to book your practice round. 902-637-2415 

ELIGIBILITY:  Open to all male and female golfers between 10 and 18 years of age as of 08/01/2022

TEE TIMES: Times will begin at 8:00am off both #1 and #10 tees (crossover format)

JUNIOR SKILLS CHALLENGE: After play on July 4th we are excited to host a FREE qualifier for the National Junior Skills Challenge during the tournament. Pre-registration would help us with the planning.

TEAM NS INFORMATION: The top 3 Boys and top 3 Girls will be selected from the Provincial Championships to represent NS at Nationals. Funding from the NSGA  in the amount of $2000 will be given to each team member to help with entry fees and travel expenses. 

QUOTA SPOTS: Nova Scotia will have the following quota spots available for Boys and Girls for Nationals:

Junior Boys: 4  Canadian Junior Boys Championship - Rivershore Golf Links Kamloops BC August 6-10

Junior Girls: 5   Canadian Girls Championship - The Marshes Golf Club Ottawa ON July 25-29

Athletes who do not make a team are still able to participate in Nationals by speaking to our Technical Director, Sara Wilson at Provincials. Funding may be available through a new Golf Canada fund.
