25th New England Senior Amateur Championship

Practice Rounds: Practice Rounds will be available at Black Rock Country Club. Please read the information below before contacting the club regarding your practice round.
- Practice rounds will be available Tuesday thru Thursday, except for 9/6 and 9/8.
- Additional weekend afternoons MAY be available, on a very limited basis.
- Players must secure a practice round by e-mailing Marking Gammons at mark@blackrockcc.com.
- Players are encouraged to book a practice round with other tournament participants - the club will pair up practice round participants with others.
- Players are limited to one discounted practice round, and the NEGA requests that each player plays one ball during their practice round. Caddies are permitted to act as caddies, but are not permitted to play during the practice round.
- The cost of a practice round will be a $25 mandatory cart fee.
- During the Practice Round, Tee 2 (Approximately 6,500 yards) is the most appropriate tee set to play to see a commensurate yardage to the Championship. Yardages are subject to change at anytime.
Schedule - Championship Proper:
Round 1 - September 13 (18 Holes)
Round 2 - September 14 (18 Holes)
The lowest scorer for 36 holes will be Champion.
If a tie for first place occurs, play will immediately continue hole-by-hole until a winner is determined. If ties for other positions occur, duplicate merchandise certificates will be awarded.
Caddies & Automotive Transportation: Golf Carts (automotive transportation) are permitted and included in the entry fee. The NEGA does not permit more than two carts per group, and carts will have cart signs with player names each day. Players may use caddies during play. A player is not required to employ a caddie for any round of the competition.
Practice Facilities: The practice facilities will be available for use throughout the Championship. The driving range will close after the last starting time each day and will NOT be available for competitors upon the completion of their round. The putting green and short game areas are available at any time unless otherwise stated.
Food/Beverage: The NEGA will be providing a complimentary luncheon on September 13 for all competitors. Spectators, caddies, etc. will be permitted to purchase food & beverage items at their expense. Lunch will be available for purchase on September 14.
Starting Times: Starting Times will begin at 8:30am each morning off the 1st & 10th tees. When available, Starting Times & Pairings can be found by clicking the tab above.
Prizes: The Andrew C. Bailey Senior Amateur Trophy will be presented to the Champion along with a gold medal. The Super Senior Division Champion will also receive a gold medal and The Super Senior Trophy. Merchandise certificates, in each division, will be awarded. Merchandise Certificates are only redeemable at the host club.
Inclement Weather/Cancelled Round Stipulation: The NEGA reserves the right to alter any of the conditions and schedules herein.
Restrictions: If the Championship course is declared unplayable and as a result it is not possible to complete the 36 holes of play in the period in which the Championship is scheduled, the Championship will not be extended beyond the last scheduled day and the winner shall be the individual who returns the lowest score for the number of stipulated rounds played. The Committee may institute a cut in order to play the last stipulated round.

Withdrawal/Refund Policy
Competitors, who have submitted an entry for an NEGA event and wish to withdraw for any reason, MUST notify the NEGA office in writing (e-mail is acceptable and encouraged) or by phone. Entry fee will be refunded less a $20 administrative fee, regardless of reason, if the NEGA is notified in writing or by phone seven days prior to each event. Entry fee will be refunded less 50% for any withdrawals received less than seven days prior to each event. No refund will be processed for a withdrawal notification that is received on the scheduled date of an event (Championship or Qualifier).
