Welcome to the Bob Cochran Mid-Am Championship

This 18 hole stroke play event is open to all male amateur players 25 years old and older as of May 11,2022.  Participant must be a member in good standing at one of the STLDGA Member Clubs.  Event will have the following restrictions.

-The Open Division will be limited to 60 players-Open Division will play about 6400 yards.

-The Net Division will be limited to 30 players-Net Divison will play about 6000 yards.

All registrants for the event will be placed in the Pending Registration category in order to facilitate the following procedures.  Players will receive a notification email upon their acceptance into the event.

Because of the expected popularity of this event, the following exemptions will be applied to reward: 1) Past Champions and 2)Players who have participated in the event for the past 3 years, the opportunity to be assured a spot in the event. These players will be accepted into the event provided they register within the appropriate window.  For the Open Division of 60 players, the Non-Exempt players will then qualify by the lowest index players as of the registration close date of April 15th.  For the Net Division, after the Exempt players have registered, participants will be selected by the order in which they registered.  All other players will be added to the Wait List for the spots beyond 60 players for the Open Division and 30 Players for the Net Division.

Event includes practice round (carts extra), carts the day of event, and appetizers following play.  Both Gross and Net Competitions.  Top 5 Gross finishers in the Open Division qualify for season ending Jackson Invitational.

The Top 5 Gross Finshers become eligible to participate in the season ending Jim Jackson Invitational Championship at Algonquin Golf Club, on October 15-16, 2022.
