FORMAT
The NB Men’s Amateur Championships is a 54-Hole stroke play championship open to amateur male golfers. The event is played in 18-hole stipulated rounds over three consecutive days.
STARTING TIMES AND DRAW INFORMATION
Starting times for the first round will be made available on the Golf NB website 2 to 3 days prior to the event as well as being e-mailed to each participant. Final Round starting times will be e-mailed to competitors, posted on the Golf NB website, and posted on the Tournament Information Page once they are prepared.
Round 1:
- First-round pairings will be available 2-3 days prior to the first round of competition.
- Tee times will begin between 7:00 am & 8:00 am with players being paired in groups of three.
- Groups will tee off in ten (10) minute intervals.
- Round 1 tee-times will be made based on handicaps from low to high. If entered, the defending champion will tee-off in the first group.
- First-round tee time will be e-mailed to competitors, posted on the Golf NB website, and posted on the Tournament Information Page once they are prepared.
Round 2:
- Tee times will begin between 7:00 am & 8:00 am with players being paired in groups of three.
- Groups will tee off in ten (10) minute intervals.
- Round 2 tee-times will be established by score with the high scores teeing off first.
- Round 2 tee time will be e-mailed to competitors, posted on the Golf NB website, and posted on the Tournament Information Page once they are prepared.
Round 3:
- Tee times will begin between 7:00 am & 8:00 am with players being paired in groups of three.
- Groups will tee off in ten (10) minute intervals.
- Round 3 draw will be determined based on combined first and second-round scores with the highest two-day total teeing off first. In the event of tie scores, the draw will be created based on the first score recorded teeing off last.
- Round 3 tee time will be e-mailed to competitors, posted on the Golf NB website, and posted on the Tournament Information Page once they are prepared.
