The County Stroke Play Championship is a 72-hole scratch event which includes a net prize (Over1st 36 holes).
The John Henderson Salver to be held for one year will be awarded to the leading qualifier with the best scratch score over 36 holes on the 28th May.
36 Holes will be played on May 28th and the leading 24 returns and those tying for 24th place will play a further 36 Holes on 29th. In the event of a tie the Joint Winners shall play extra holes, these being the 7th, 8th,17th and 18th withthe player having the lowest aggregate score over the extra holes being the winner. If there is still a tie the same extra holes will be played hole by hole until a decision is reached.
After being confirmed into the event, competitors will by courtesy of Dunstanburgh Golf Club be allowed one free practice round. Please phone the Club on 01665 - 576562. Times must be booked in advance in order that the course is available to you.
