Come learn about the different games and all the information you need to know about the Kingwood Womens Golf Association for 2022.

 

SCRAMBLE  

A team consisting of four players, A-B-C-D.  Everyone plays from the selected series of shots until holed out.  A minimum drive quota may apply.  (Team handicap used is USGA standard = A (25%) + B (20%) + C (15%) + D 10%).

ACE OF ACES  

A flighted Low Gross and Low Net event.  Overall low gross and low net winners (and ties) will advance to the Ace of Aces Playoff in November.  In addition to the overall winners, prizes will be awarded to Low Gross and Low Net as determined by number of players participating.  (A player may win the overall low gross or low net only once during the year). Low putts will be paid from pots starting in 2022.  Overall Ace of Aces monthly winners are manually tabulated by Playday Chair.  Monthly winners advance to November Playoff.

LUCKY 4’S 

The event score will be calculated using all par 4 holes.  Winners are the lowest overall net to par scores.

$60 entry fee per player for Interclub at Walden on Lake Houston on January 27

ACE OF ACES

You may pick your partner for this event or sign up as a single player. 

 

The format this year is a 6-6-6 where Holes 1-6 will be best ball, Holes 7-12 will be alternate shot and Holes 13-18 will be a scramble format with your teammate. Reach out to Tim or Brenda C with any questions regarding this Tournament.

O.N.E.S 

The event score will be calculated on the holes beginning with the letters O-N-E-S (1,6,7,8,9  and 11,16,17 &18).  Winners are the lowest overall net to par scores.

We are starting to offer a few times a year a 9 hole scramble where we will combine the 9 Holers and 18 Holers for a fun scramble where we can get together and meet and play with other ladies! This event will begin at 10am on the Marsh Course.  

 

After the scramble you can purchase lunch before a 2:00pm Rules Clinic with Director of Golf Dick Smith, Jr.

BLIND PARTNERS 

Sign up as an individual for this partnered event.  Partners are drawn by the proshop.  The partners combined scores for low net will determine winners.

For this event you play a 6 hole best ball match play against another team in your flight. Each match will be worth 7 points (1 for winning each hole, 1/2 for tied and 1 point if you win the match 1/2 if you tied match) and the team within each flight (of 6 teams) with the most points wins each flight. 

 

18 holes played Tuesday, 12 holes played on Wednesday. You will not play 18 consecutive holes as you are jumping around a little to play different teams in your flight.
