2022 NCGA 4-Ball Net Qualifier

Format: 2 Person Net Better Ball
All players will play their own ball and record their scores on each hole. The Two Person Team will then select the One Net Best Ball per hole and record it in the space provided on the scorecard.
Tees: Men- Acorn 4/3 Combo
Women- Acorn 2
Handicap: 85% of February 15th Handicap will be used; maximum of 18.4 Index.
Flights: Flights are determined by total team handicap.
Qualifying: Three 2-Person Teams will qualify and advance to Sectionals (One 2- Person Team from each Flight). TBD
Finals: 4-Ball Championship to be held at Poppy Hills on Friday June 20th - June 21st
USGA Rules Govern all play.
Rule 6-7 Undue Delay: Slow Play - The Player must play without undue delay and in accordance with any pace of play guidelines that the Committee may establish. Between completion of a hole and playing from the next teeing ground, the player must not unduly delay play.
Local Rules:
Local Rule; Ground Under Repair: A player will be granted relief if their ball comes to rest in the mulched and seeded areas through the green. A player will not be granted relief from stance.
Local Rule; Accidental movement of golf ball on putting surface: A player is not penalized for accidental movement of the golf ball on the putting surface. The ball must be replaced to its original location at no penalty.
Local Rule; Relief granted from immovable obstructions adjacent to the green: If a player’s ball comes to rest and the line of play is blocked by an immovable obstruction, i.e. a sprinkler head, and such sprinkler head is located within two club lengths of the putting surface, and the ball is within two club lengths of the immovable obstruction, the player is granted line if play relief no nearer to the hole.
