GRAND SHOOTOUT FORMAT

 

The 1st place team from each bracket along with 2 Wild Card teams will advance to the Grand Shootout (for a minimum total of 10 teams) The Wild Cards will be selected based upon total accumulated points over the 3-day event.

     

IN THE EVENT OF A TIE WITHIN A BRACKET TO DETERMINE WHO GOES ON TO THE GRAND SHOOTOUT,  WE WILL USE THE FOLLOWING TIE BREAKER:

 

1a. Head To Head Match

1b. Fridays Net 2Ball Total, if tied then 2 Net Ball HC Scorecard

 

NOTE:   If you fail to win your Bracket using the above tie-breaker, you do NOT get a Wildcard spot unless you meet the Wild Card 2nd place point requirements below.

  

The 9th & 10th teams, Wild Cards, is the team that finished second in their bracket

and have second and third most points among all the brackets.

 

If a tie exists within a bracket, the tie breaker will be as in above. If a tie exists across brackets, the tie breaker again will be Fridays Team Total Net 2Ball, if tied then 2Ball HC Scorecard. If teams are still tied, we will have a Chip Off on Hammerhead #4 before Grand Shootout. (if a Team Member is not represented in Fridays play if a tie exists between 2 or more Teams then the TieBreaker will be 1Net Ball of the Participating player and that of the other tied Team(s).

If it's a Member, then use Members scores, Guests then Guests.

 

3. If your team does not lose any of your five matches, you will also be in the Grand Shootout. (Example: a team with a record of 2 – 0 – 3 will qualify).

 

 

All Teams in the Grand Shootout will receive a Individual HDCP based on the Team Net 2-Ball format.

 

All Players receive their full 9 hole Hdcp with the exception, no player will receive more than 1 stroke per hole.

 

All teams will play ‘TOTAL TEAM NET’ (both balls). The minimum 10 Teams will be split in to 2 groups. 

 

5 lowest Team Handicaps will play in POD 'A' and remaining 5 in POD 'B'

The 2 Wildcard Teams will place by Team Hdcp Index along with any no-loss Teams.

 

We will be playing from the Black Tees!

 

Order of play on Hammerhead will be low handicap to high handicap based off lowest team handicap.
