Eligibility
Male amateur golfers age 50 or older as of October 9, 2018. Both players on team must be a KGA members.
NOTICE - Teams (both partners same) that have participated in the championship the previous two years (2016 and 2017) shall have a spot reserved for them in the championship until March 1st.
Entry Fee and Deadline
$360. Deadline for entry is Monday, October 22nd at 4:00 pm. Field is limited to 40 teams total.
Practice Round
Mission Hills Country Club is a private facility. Practice round availability will be very limited. Practice round cost is $75 per player including cart ($50 for walking player). Please email PGA Head Golf Professional Jeff King at jking@missionhillscc.com to inquire about practice round time. Please do NOT call the golf shop to inquire about practice round times.
Format
36 holes of four-ball stroke play with two divisions. Champion to be determined in each division. The event may be shortened to 18 holes if weather cancels either round. Gift certificates from the host club will be awarded in amounts to be determined based on the number of total entries within each division.
For Net Scoring, each player's handicap will be reduced to 90% of his course handicap based on slope of the tee distance being played, with handicap strokes applied on a hole by hole basis, and team's net score on a hole by hole "best ball" total.
Divisions
Two divisions available:
- Senior (any age - gross & net scoring)
- Super Senior (both players on team age 60 & older - gross & net scoring)
