ENTRY ELIGIBILY, PROCEDURE & INFORMATION
Championship Division: Entries are open to female amateur golfers who have completed their college eligibility, have reached their 23rd birthday on or before Tuesday, May 24th, and have a USGA Handicap Index of 6.0 or less.
Senior Division: Entries are open to female amateur golfers who have reached their 50th birthday on or before Tuesday, May 24th and have a USGA Handicap Index of 6.0 or less.
*Both divisions are WAGR ranked and top finishers will earn WAGR points.
TOURNAMNENT REGISTRATION
Registration will be on the www.amateurgolfalliance.org website. Non-exempt applicants are not guaranteed a spot in the Championship field; applicant entries will be reviewed based on playing experience, competitive success, rankings and merit against those of other applicants. Non-exempt applicants are encouraged to submit a playing resume (via email to akolb@anerasports.com or other documents to substantiate their competitive history. All entrants will be notified if they have been assigned a position in the field on or before Friday, May 6th.
EXEMPTIONS
All exempt players who meet the criteria outlined below are required to register before Wednesday, March 23rd at 5:00 PM (Central). Entries received from exempt players after such date will be processed and reviewed with all other entries, including those of non-exempt applicants.
- Top ten finishers (and ties) in 2021 AGA Women's Amateur Division;
- Top ten finishers (and ties) in 2021 AGA Women's Senior Division;
- Last five years U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur Champions;
- Last three years U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur Runner-ups;
- Last two years U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur Semifinalist;
- Last year’s U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur Quarterfinalists;
- Top fifteen players (and ties) in Stroke Play qualifying in 2021 U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur;
- Top ten players (and ties) in Stroke Play qualifying in 2019 U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur;
- Top fifteen players (and ties) in the Stroke Play qualifying in 2021 U.S. Women’s Amateur;
- Top 300 players in the R&A/USGA World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR)*;
- Amateur Golf Alliance/Host Club Selections.
*Rankings are considered as of the date of entry being received.
FORMAT & FIELD SIZE
The Championship will be contested over 54 holes of Individual Stroke Play, with 18 holes per day. The field is limited to 72 players.
ON-SITE CHAMPIONSHIP REGISTRATION
All players must register with AGA staff member prior to the start of the Championship. Players that do not register may be subject to disqualification. Official tournament registration will be on Monday, May 23rd from 12:00 - 3:00 PM at Texas Rangers Golf Club. Players who are unable to register on the date and time listed must contact AGA Staff Amanda Kolb at (akolb@anerasports.com) in advance of the Championship.
OFFICIAL PRACTICE ROUND
The official practice round will be a shotgun start at 2:00 PM, and please indicate if you will be attending the practice round shotgun in the registration process. Players are limited to one complementary practice round on the designated practice round date, Monday, May 23rd.
PLAYER RECEPTION
There will be a Player Welcome Reception on Monday, May 23rd at Texas Rangers Golf Club at 6:30 pm on the Patio at Texas Rangers Golf Club. The reception will include food and beverage, and is included in the entry fee.
STARTING TIMES & PAIRINGS
Starting times and pairings for the first and second rounds will be made available no later than Friday, May 20th. Final round starting times and pairings will be available in the evening after play online at www.amateurgolfalliance.org in the Tournament Office and Golf Shop, and emailed to players. Final round starting times will be re-drawn, based on total score.

TRANSPORTATION & CADDIES
The Championship will be a riding event and carts will be provided for players, two players per cart. Caddies are not guaranteed a seat in the cart and there are no spectator carts.
CLUBHOUSE FACILITIES
Clubhouse facilities will be open one hour before the starting tee time each day. Lunch is provided for all three rounds of the Championship; and is included in the entry fee. Guests may dine with players but will be charged the appropriate cost for the same meal. Acceptable forms of payment in the clubhouse are cash and cards. All other food and beverage consumed will be at the player’s expense.
PRACTICE FACILITIES
Practice facilities at the host club will be available to all players for the duration of the Championship. The practice facilities will open beginning one hour prior to the first starting time.
POLICIES, PROCEDURES & CONDITIONS OF COMPETITION
The Amateur Golf Alliance Code of Conduct and Dress Code are in effect throughout the Championship. Violations will be dealt with based on the severity of the misconduct. All competitors should be familiar with all AGA Conditions of Competitions and Policies. The Championship will be conducted by the 2022 USGA Rules of Golf.
WITHDRAWAL & NO SHOW POLICY
If you find you cannot compete in the Championship, you must officially withdraw from the event by contacting AGA Staff Amanda Kolb at (akolb@anerasports.com) or (469-458-0806). If you do not officially withdraw, you may be subject to DISQUALIFICATION from future AGA Championships. Any player withdrawing prior to Wednesday, May 4th at 5:00 PM Central will receive a full refund, less a $25 administrative fee. Any withdrawals after the entry deadline, will not receive a refund unless a spot is filled by a competitor on the waitlist. If the Championship is cancelled all players will receive a full refund.
