Welcome to the San Diego Amateur (North) presented by Callaway Golf, being played Monday and Tuesday, December 13-14 at Aviara Golf Club in Carlsbad. PRACTICE ROUNDS
Aviara will provide tournament players only their "A Club" rate any day from now until the tournament:
$145 M-Thurs
$165 Fri-Sun
The golf shop can be reached at 760-603-6900 if you want to reserve a tee time. Please identify yourself as a San Diego Amateur tournament player.
TEES
Championship Division plays Palmer Tees at approx 7000 yards
Senior Division plays Blue at approx 6500 yards
SCORING
All scoring will be electronic using Golf Genius. I encourage you to download the app if you don't have it already. Each group will be given a unique GGID to use when entering scores and we will verify from a safe distance at the scoring table after the round.
SCORE POSTING
We will post scores to GHIN after each round.
CADDIES/CARTS
Carts are required for tournament players - since we are playing threesomes there will be one spot per group that a caddie could ride in but beyond that, we do not allow spectator carts. If there is more than one caddie in any group we will leave it to the discretion of the players to share walking but in no case do we allow riding off the back of a cart. The only exception to the spectator cart rule will be for a person that has a handicap placard and can provide documentation to the golf shop. Players - please share this with friends/family as appropriate.
LODGING
