OFWW TRANSITION TO GOLF GENIUS

January 18, 2022 Update

 

How to access GG

• Use PC Browser (golfgenius.com) or GG app (iPhone, Android, or iPad)
• Sign-in with League GCID (OFWW), Scorecard GCID (i.e., WATTKC), or email address + password (future)

 

 

Navigation in GG

• All content located in the GG Portal (kcc-ofww.golfgenius.com) versus OFWW Web Site
• Transition details and GG Site map available on the Portal (OFWW Info) and OFWW Web Site (Home page link)

 

 

Bash Sign-up

• GG Sign-up will begin with February Bash; replaces myContactForm
• You can sign-up directly in “registration email”  or registration for open rounds on the Portal “Splash Page” 
• Detailed instructions are available on the Web Site GG transition section and  Portal “OFWW Info Tab”

 

 

Playday/Bash Results & Payouts

• Leader Board info (scores, skins, payouts) for each round is available on the Portal and GG app “Results Tab”
• YTD Standings for Playdays, Bashes and Total Purse with drill down (can be used to track  monthly member bills

 

 

Playday & Divot Day Sign-up

• Will continue with myContactForm until configuration and testing in GG is complete
• Playday transition to replace Playday Google sheets expected in February, Divot Day switch in March
• Golfer’s default Tee Box preferences by Course will be established in GG; changes can be requested at sign-up 

 

 

Implementation Change Management

• Stepwise implementation will continue as additional GG capabilities become available and tested
• A “roadmap” will be available on the web Site and Portal as plans are finalized
• Updated content on the Portal will evolve as time permits; plan to laydown web site in 2Q
• Feedback will be gathered by emails and online forms; FAQ will be posted on the Web site and Portal
