INVITATIONAL CRITERIA
The Glencoe Invitational is a 54-hole Stroke Play Invitational Golf Tournament with three divisions – male amateur as well as female amateur and female professional. Invitees are selected based on their competitive record in major events and World Amateur Ranking. The Invitational Committee reserves the right to select one Sponsor invitation in each division.
Should a player receive an invitation from the Tournament Committee, players need to register on-line and then a confirmation will be sent by the Tournament Committee on April 1, 2022. Entry fees will be processed at this time.
MEN’S DIVISION
In the Men’s Division, the field size will be limited to a target of 30 amateur contestants. Applicants from the following criteria listed below are given priority consideration:
- Top 1,500 on WAGR (as of January 2022)
- 2021 Alberta Men’s Amateur Champion
- 2021 Glencoe Club Men’s Club Champion
- Top 10 in the 2021 Canadian Men’s Amateur
- Top 10 finishers at the 2021 Glencoe Invitational
- Past Invitational Champions (previous 5 Champions: ’16, 17, ’18, ’19, ‘21)
- Monday Qualifiers – maximum of three low males.
WOMEN’S DIVISIONS
In the Women’s Division, there will be both professional and amateurs with a target of 20 and 25 competitors respectively. Applicants from the following criteria listed below are given priority consideration:
Professional
- Top 5 finishers at the 2021 DCM PGA Women’s Championship
- Symetra and LPGA Members
- 2019 CP Women’s Open Monday qualifiers
- Top 3 finishers at the 2021 Glencoe Invitational
Amateur
- Top 1,250 on WAGR (as of January 2022)
- 2021 Alberta Ladies Amateur Champion
- 2021 Glencoe Club Ladies’ Club Champion
- Top 15 in the 2021 Canadian Ladies’ Amateur
- Canadians that made the cut in the 2021 USGA Women’s Mid-Am
- Top 5 finishers at the 2021 Glencoe Invitational
- Monday Qualifiers – one low female amateur pending number of registrants (minimum 4)
Should you meet any of the qualifications above and have not received a personal invitation from the Committee in early February 2022, please fill in the application form and submit your entry. Those who do not meet the criteria above are still encouraged to apply for a playing spot in The Glencoe DC Bank Invitational, historically non-exempt players are issued invitations based on their competitive record in March/April prior to the event. Please note you will not be asked for your entry fee until such a time as you are officially invited to play in the event.
ENTRY FEE
- The Male and Female Amateur entry fee is $375 plus applicable taxes.
- The Female Professional entry fee is $500 plus applicable taxes.
Can I still qualify if I haven’t received an invitation?
Even if you haven’t received an invitation, players are encouraged to apply using the link on the main page. The final field will be set by May 1. There will also be a Monday qualifier on June 13, 2022. Registration link will open on April 1.

THE 2022 INVITATIONAL CHAMPIONS WILL RECEIVE
Male Champion will receive an exemption to the final qualifying round for the 2023 RBC Canadian Open.
Male Champion will receive an exemption into the 2022 Canadian Men’s Amateur.
Top Three Male Amateur Finishers will receive keeper trophies from Mill Creek Studios
Female Amateur Champion will receive an exemption into the 2022 Canadian Ladies Amateur.
Top Three Female Amateur Finishers will receive keeper trophies from Mill Creek Studios.
Top Three Female Professionals are competing for prize money consisting of the following:
- 1st place $15,000
- 2nd place $7,000
- 3rd place $3,000
Low Female Finisher (Amateur or Professional) will receive a free entry into the 2022 CP Women’s Open Qualifier.
