The Queen City Cup is our tours Unique and Premier season long point’s race that is included as part of the skills contest.  

 

Players can compete in four divisions each tournament and accumulate QC Cup points from the opening event through the tour championship where you can earn a spot in our prize pool and even finish the season as the QC Cup Champion and earn FREE GOLF the following year!

 

Each event has a point category based on strength of field and importance to the schedule like a local Major Championship verse a City Championship. The top 10 in each division listed below earn a set amount of points while the rest of the field in each division will earn a point per player as a strength of field bonus provided, they entered the skills contest. 

 

DIVISIONS

 

Gold Medal:

This is an open division that combines the entire field each week and is awarded by lowest gross score.

 

Silver Medal:

This is for all players 55 years and older entered into the field each week and is awarded by lowest gross score.

 

Bronze Medal:

This is an NET handicap division using the USGA Rule 3-5 to determine handicap and strokes for the entire field each week and is awarded by lowest NET score. 

 

Vets Medalist:

This is for our Military members only; NET handicap division using the USGA Rule 3-5 to determine handicap and strokes for the entire field each week and is awarded by lowest NET score.

1st 300-2nd 150-3rd 125-4th 100-5th 70-6th 60-7th 50-8th 40-9th 30-10th 20

 

City Championships or Local Signature Series event- Standard points above

State or Featured Golf Championships- 2x the points above

GCGS Majors known as The Greater Cincinnati Grand Slam- 3x the points above 

 

"Pursuit of the Prize Pool!" at the Tour Champ. Valued at $7500! 

 

At our Tour Champ in August the QC Cup concludes with the following format in each division. 

 

Each of the Four Divisions can earn the Prize Pool by the following- 40 payouts will be awarded at the Tour Champ! 

The Top 25 ranked players heading into our Tour Champ are prize pool eligible and will qualify for the season ending Gold Medal shootout. The Top 2 ranked players from the points list and lowest 8 scores from the Top 25 at the Tour Champ will earn a spot in the final prize pool valued at $2500!

 

Only the Top 8 point leaders going into the Tour Champ will be eligible to win the QC Cup and be crowned champion claiming FREE golf in 2021!
