2018 CGA Women's Mashie Championship

 

                     

               

 

Registration Opens March 15, 2018

 

Host Facility: Legacy Ridge and Coal Creek Golf Course 

 

Dates: Monday, June 4 - Wednesday, June 6, 2018

 

Format: 4- Ball Matchplay – Partners play their ball against the better ball of the other team. Teams are flighted according to combined handicap index (based on the May 15 revision) with approximately eight teams per flight. Each flight has a consolation bracket for teams eliminated in the first round matches. Teams will play both courses with final matches being played at Legacy Ridge. Teams forfeiting their first match will not be eligible to compete in consolation round matches. Matches that are tied after 18 holes will be extended to a hole-by-hole playoff to determine a winner.

 

Handicap Details: Maximum of 30. It is recommended that the partners play within eight strokes of each other. If the difference between the two handicap indexes is greater than 8, the higher handicap index will be reduced accordingly. 

Note: Because adjustments will be made to the handicap index, there may be more than an eight-stroke difference between the course handicaps. During matches, the course handicaps of all four players will be reduced by the course handicap of the player with the lowest handicap, who shall then play at scratch. The other players are allowed 100% of the difference. All flights play with handicap except championship flight

 

Carts/Caddies: Carts are required, included in the entry. Caddies are not allowed

 

Prizes: Merchandise gift certificates are awarded within each flight to the winners, runners-up and consolation winners. Championship flight winners receive team trophies in addition to merchandise gift certificates.

• Legacy Ridge Practice Rounds – Tee times are subject to availability, can be made 14 days in advance by calling the pro shop at 303-438-8997. Pricing: Standard rates. Click HERE to view rates.
• Coal Creek Practice Rounds – Tee times are subject to availability, can be made in advance by calling the pro shop at 303-666-7888. When making a tee time, identify yourself as a CGA Mashie participant. Pricing: $25 course fee, $18 cart fee. Note: These prices are ONLY available anytime weekdays or after noon on weekends.

Entry Fee: $370 Per Team 

 

Field Size: 104 teams. 

Note: Championship is filled on a first come, first served basis using the registration date and time. If a Championship is oversubscribed, a wait list will be maintained in case of cancellation.
