Welcome to the 2022 Peter Jacobsen Junior Challenge

Major Event

These multiple-day competitions are tailored for more experienced players. All competitions are stroke play with the exception of the Oregon Junior Amateur.

Site: Trysting Tree Golf Course | Corvallis, Ore.

Eligibility:

• Must be an amateur between the ages of 8 - 18 years of age as of June 14, 2022.
• Must be a 2022 Member of Oregon Junior Golf. 

Division:   

• Boys Open (14 -18) must have a handicap index of 7.0 or below at entry deadline
• Girls Open (12 -18) must have a handicap index of 14.0 or below at entry deadline  

(Team Points are only granted in the Open Division)

• Boys 16-18 | Boys 14-15 | Boys 12-13 | Boys 10-11 | Boys 8-9
• Girls 15-18 | Girls 12-14 | Girls 10-11 | Girls 8-9

Format: Individual Stroke Play Competition

Entry Fee: 18 Hole Divisions - $70 / 9-Hole Divisions - $50 (IMG Players $100)

Entry Includes:

• 2 Rounds of golf
• Lunch both days
• Trophies to the top 3 finishers in each division
• The Champion for each division will receive an invitation to the Tournament of Major Champions.

**Players age 15-18 who are interested in qualifying for IMG Junior World Championship must register and be approved to play in the Peter Jacobsen Junior Challenge.  2022 OJG Membership is also required to compete.  When registering for the Peter Jacobsen Junior Challenge, please select the Payment option to register for the Open Division and IMG Qualifier. All players competing in the IMG Junior World Qualifying (15-18 divisions) are required to play in the Open Division to meet qualifying yardage.
