*This event serves as a concurrent qualifier for the CGA Mid-Amateur Championship. The qualifier is first and foremost a USGA Mid-Amateur championship qualifier. Only players that are registered for the USGA Mid-Amateur Championship qualifier may also use this site as a CGA Mid-Amateur Qualifier. You may not play in this event as a CGA Mid-Amateur Qualifier only.

Format: 18 holes of stroke play

 

U.S. Mid-Am Qualifying Positions: 4

 

U.S. Mid-Am Alternate Positions: 2

 

CGA Mid-Am Qualifying Positions: TBA

 

Starting Time: 7:00 a.m. off holes #1 and #10 

 

Walking Only Event: The U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship and its qualifiers are walking only events, players may carry their bag, use a pull cart, or have a caddie. Players or caddies may not ride in a motorized cart.

 

Driving Range: The driving range will be made available at 6:00 a.m. at no additional charge to the player.

 

Player Food: Any food or drink is the responsibility of the player and will be available for purchase at 6:00 a.m.

 

Distance Measuring Devices: Distance measuring devices are allowed provided they measure distance only.

 

Practice Rounds: Monday- Thursday - $58.00           Friday - Sunday $63.00.           Cart fee - $18.00.

Score Posting The CGA will post tournament scores to GHIN.

 

Footwear: It is a condition at all qualifying sites unless otherwise indicated by an asterisk on this entry application that shoes with traditionally-designed spikes (regardless of composition, i.e., ceramic, plastic, etc.) or spikes, regardless of design, comprised either entirely or partially of metal (if such metal may come in contact with the course) are prohibited during the stipulated round. Penalty for breach of this condition: Disqualification.

 

Official in Charge: An official in charge cannot set-up a golf course or officiate Rules if that person is also a participant at the qualifying site.

 

Entry Fee: $175.00

 

Registration Deadline: 5:00 p.m. EDT August 1, 2018. Players must register through the USGA website linked above.

 

Handicap Index Limit: 3.4

 

Field Size: Maximum of 84 players.
