TEAM COMPETITION
Teams will be made up of 20 players, comprised of six (6) smaller teams including;

INTER-PROVINCIAL TEAM COMPETITION
Teams representing the Newfoundland Labrador, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island will compete over 36 holes for the Atlantic Cup. The province accumulating the most points will be awarded the Cup and will retain it until the next Atlantic Golf Championships. The format for the team competition is as follows:
- Players will compete as teams in 6 flights, with points awarded in each flight based on the team’s order of finish:
First Place Team
4 Points Second Place Team
3 Points
Third Place Team
2 Points
Fourth Place Team
0 Points
- Teams in the Men’s, Women’s, Mid-Master Men and Mid- Master Women will be comprised of 3 players. The Senior Men and Senior Women’s Teams will be comprised of 4 players and will include one Super Senior Male and one Super Senior Female player. The minimum requirement for a team to compete and earn points within a flight is 2 players.
- For each round of the competition the lowest 2 scores (gross) will be recorded as the team score for the division. At the end of 36 holes points will be awarded by flight and the provincial team with the most points overall will win the Atlantic Cup.
- In the event of a tie for first place the provincial team with the lowest gross score taking, all recorded competitive scores into account, will be awarded the Atlantic Cup.
- All play will be governed by the Rules of Golf.
INDIVIDUAL COMPETITION
Individuals will compete in a 36-hole stroke play event over eight (8) individual divisions including;

Note: The field sizes outlined above are “Maximum” field sizes. The actual size of each field will be dependent on the number of entries.
2022 CANADIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS
The winner of the Men’s and Ladies Amateur, Mid-Master, Senior and Super-Senior Divisions will earn an exemption into their respective 2022 Canadian Championships.
