2018 U.S. Senior Amateur Qualifying - Omni Interlocken Golf Club

 

 

*This event serves as a concurrent qualifier for the CGA Senior Amateur Championship. The qualifier is first and foremost a USGA Senior Amateur championship qualifier. Only players that are registered for the USGA Senior Amateur Championship qualifier may also use this site as a CGA Senior Amateur Qualifier. You may not play in this event as a CGA Senior Amateur Qualifier only.

18 Hole Layout: The VISTA & SUNSHINE nine's will be used for the qualifier. Please note that players listed as starting on hole #1 will start on the VISTA nine and players listed as starting on hole #10 will start on the SUNSHINE nine.

 

Format: 18 holes of stroke play

 

U.S. Senior Amateur Qualifying Positions: 3

 

CGA Senior Amateur Qualifying Positions: TBD

 

Starting Time: 7:30 a.m. off holes #1 and #10.

 

Golf Carts: Players may ride in golf carts for the U.S. Senior Amateur Qualifier. Cart fees will be included in the player's entry fee. Players may also choose to carry, use a push cart or have a caddie. There will only be allowed two (2) carts per group. New win 2018, the player or the player’s caddie may ride in a golf cart during a stipulated round, but both may not ride at the same time. I.E. - a player may walk to the green and the caddie may bring the cart up.

Driving Range: The driving range will be available at 6:30 a.m. at no additional charge to the player.

 

Distance Measuring Devices: Must measure distance only.

 

Practice Round Information: $65 per player (includes cart and range fees). Available July 1st - July 23rd on Monday - Thursdays only (excludes Holidays). Please call the golf shop to schedule a tee time prior to arrival.

Player Food: Breakfast and lunch will be available for purchase on-site at the responsibility of the player. Breakfast will be available for purchase at 6:00 a.m.

 

Score Posting: The CGA will post tournament scores to GHIN.

 

Footwear: It is a condition at all qualifying sites unless otherwise indicated by an asterisk on this entry application that shoes with traditionally-designed spikes (regardless of composition, i.e., ceramic, plastic, etc.) or spikes, regardless of design, comprised either entirely or partially of metal (if such metal may come in contact with the course) are prohibited during the stipulated round. Penalty for breach of this condition: Disqualification

 

Handicap Index Limit: 7.4

 

Field Size: Maximum of 84 players

 

Entry Fee: $175.00
