Format:
One 18-hole stipulated round of four-ball stroke play. Contestants will play from the Gold Tee Markers (see Yardage sheet). The low THREE (3) sides will advance to the U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Championship at Jupiter Hills Club in Tequesta, Florida on May 19-23, 2018. Any playoffs will take place immediately after the conclusion of play for the last spot and two alternate positions. Please note that due to daylight constraints, some or all of the playoffs may carry over to the following morning.
Competition Schedule:
Starting times will run from approximately 9:00am – 1:00pm off hole #1. Groupings and starting times will be posted at SNGA.org by Friday, February 2. There will be a registration table in the clubhouse – please check in upon arrival at the course. Please be at your assigned tee at least 10 minutes prior to your starting time.
Practice Round Information:
Available to contestant and caddie on a space available basis. Green Fees including Cart - $119 before 12:30PM and $99 after 12:30PM. Carts are required for all practice rounds. For practice round starting times/availability please call 702.804.8500.
Cart Information:
Automotive transportation for players is prohibited during the play of any hole, but players may be shuttled between holes. Caddies may use a cart for a fee of $25. Due to the layout of the course, carts are strongly encouraged. RIDING ON THE BACK OF A CART IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED AT ALL TIMES, AND MAY LEAD TO PENALTIES ON THE SIDE. Pull-carts are permitted. SPECTATOR CARTS ARE PROHIBITED.
Caddies:
Caddies are permitted for the qualifying, but are not available on site at the club.
Practice Balls:
Provided for players prior to and following competition round at no cost. The practice range, putting and chipping greens, and pro shop will open at 7:00am. Please follow course instructions in case of frost.
Payment Information:
Cash and major Credit Cards are accepted for all purchases (golf shop and food and beverage).
Food and Beverage Information:
The Snack Bar will be open from 7:30AM-4:00PM. No outside food and beverage is permitted.
Withdrawals:
Notify the SNGA at 702.458.4653 or info@snga.org to withdraw. Players that fail to notify the SNGA prior to their starting time will be listed as No Shows.

ADDITIONAL RULES INFORMATION
Rules Information:
The Rules of Golf as approved by the USGA and the R&A govern play, and are supplemented by the 2018 USGA Hard Card. The Committee will provide any additional Local Rules needed at the qualifying site. It is the player’s responsibility to know the conditions of the competition.
Limitation of Golf Balls:
The optional condition in Appendix I known as the “One Ball” Rule is in effect. See Appendix I.
Automotive Transportation:
The use of automotive transportation is prohibited for players. See Appendix I.
Footwear:
Shoes with traditionally-designed spikes (regardless of composition, i.e., ceramic, plastic, etc.) or spikes, regardless of design, comprised entirely or partially of metal (if such metal may come in contact with the course) are prohibited during the stipulated round. Penalty for breach of this condition: Disqualification.
Distance-Measuring Devices:
Optional Local Rule permitting the use of distance-measuring devices is in effect. See Appendix I-A-7.
Grooves Condition:
Optional condition prescribed in Decision 4-1/1 is in effect. You may check to see if your grooves are conforming by using the Informational Club Database - http://www.usga.org/InfoClubsDB/intro.html
