The Whisky Run at Verde River is a “hickory golf” event open to all Golf Members.  The Club will bring in authentic, early 20th century hickory shafted golf clubs for this unique, 9-hole walking tournament with a decidedly Scottish theme.  That’s right – Brassies, Mashies and Niblicks – the real thing!  Think bagpipes and single malt.  We will also be providing caddies!

 

The emphasis will definitely be on FUN and we’re certain that the day’s proceedings will yield a lot of laughs and memorable stories.  With this backdrop, here are the particulars:

Format:                    Two-Person Blind Draw

                                              Play your own ball with 80% of handicap.  Your partner in this two-ball format will be determined by a blind draw of                                                    another golf member.  Winners to be announced at awards ceremony in our Event Center following play

 

Entry Fee:              $90 per person

 

                                      Includes awards presentation for Golf & Best Dressed for Male & Female, Scottish Cuisine                                                  food & beverage following play
