We are looking forward to another exciting season of golf in 2025. We appreciate your continued support of the BCGA; please “talk it up” at your club to encourage your golfing friends to join the BCGA and play in our tournaments.

  • At the January 22, 2025, board of directors meeting, the following officers were elected:

               President – Tom Walker
               Vice-President – Chris Gallo
               Treasurer – Greg Galtere
Craig Fioravante will continue as Webmaster.

  • Special thanks went out to Ryan Kline for serving as our president the past three years.

  • 2025 Tournament Schedule announced:

May 12 - Senior Partners at Moselem Springs Golf Club (noon shotgun start)
June 13 & 14 - Berks Amateur at Heidelberg Country Club
July 12 & 13 - Partners Championship at Reading Country Club
            July 21 - Junior/Senior at Berkshire Country Club (12:30 p.m. shotgun start)
Sept (TBD) - Senior Amateur at Golden Oaks Golf Club

  • We have added a Stableford points flight to the Berks Amateur and Senior Amateur championships. Players may select to compete in these flights when they register for the tournament. The Stableford flights will be played from shorter tees. Prizes will be nominal and trophies will not be awarded.

  • We have also added a Winter Golf Championship (indoor simulators) to be played during February at Swing Evolutions and Sittler Golf. Golfers do not be BCGA members to play. Information is available on the BCGA web site and our Facebook page.

  • Due to low participation and course availability, the Match Play Championship has been discontinued in 2025. The Junior Amateur Championship has also been cancelled in 2025 (low participation)

  • With the elimination of the Junior Amateur event, we have also discontinued the BCGA college stipend program.

  • BCGA membership dues for 2025 will be $20.

We will announce when the portals for membership dues and tournament registrations are open.
