**Qualifying: New in 2018, the CGA Senior Match Play Championship will have qualifying rounds for the championship. Non-exempt players must qualify off-site and will then be placed in the Championship. To register for a qualifier, please click the "QUALIFIER INFORMATION" link for the qualifier you would like to compete in. The Championship will now be a 64-player bracket rather than an 84 players stroke play qualifying round to determine the top 32 players and seed them into bracket play, as previous Championships had operated.
Host Facility: Buffalo Run Golf Course
Dates: Monday, June 11 - Thursday, June 14, 2018
Eligibility: Open to all active CGA Members age 52 and older on or before June 11, 2018.
Registration Deadline: 11:59 p.m. MT. Thursday, May 24, 2018
Entry Fee: $200 for exempt players into the championship. Qualifying fees will be $90 per player with an additional $110 for successful qualifiers.
Format: 64-player match play bracket. The bracket will be compiled of exempt players and successful qualifiers from qualifying sites the week(s) prior.
Monday (6/11): Round of 64 match play beginning at 7:00 a.m. (twosomes)
Tuesday (6/12): Round of 32 beginning at 7:00 a.m. Round of 16 beginning at 12:00 p.m. (twosomes)
Wednesday (6/13): Quarterfinals beginning at 6:30 a.m. Semi-finals beginning at 11:30 p.m. (twosomes)
Thursday (6/14): Championship match begins at 6:30 a.m (18 hole match).
Carts: Carts are included for all players in their entry fee for all rounds of the championship. Each player will receive their own cart for all rounds of the championship.
Spectator Carts: For Monday only, spectator carts will not be allowed. For all following days, spectator carts for medical purposes only may be requested prior to the championship by contacting Robert Duke (rduke@coloradogolf.org).
Driving Range: The driving range will be made available each morning at 6:00 a.m. at no additional charge to the player.
Distance Measuring Devices: Players may use distance measuring devices provided they measure distance only.
Practice Round Information: Posted rates. Please call ahead and reserve a tee time for your practice round.
