Distance Measuring Devices: Distance measuring devices of any kind are prohibited in all U.S. Open qualifiers.
Walking Only Event: The U.S. Open and its qualifiers are walking only events, players may carry their bag, use a pull cart, or have a caddie. Players may not ride in a motorized cart.
Format: 18 holes of stroke play
Qualifying Positions: 5
Alternate Positions: 2
Starting Time: 8:00 a.m. off holes #1 and #10
Driving Range: The driving range will be made available by 6:30 a.m. at no additional charge to the player.
Practice Round Information: Practice rounds are available at the posted rate on the club's website. Tee time reservations can be made 14 days in advance.

Entry Fee: $200.00
Handicap Index Limit: 1.4
Field Size: Maximum of 84 players.
Player Food: Food will be available for purchase at the player's responsibility.
Score Posting: The CGA will post tournament scores for all Amateur players.
Official in Charge: An official in charge cannot set-up a golf course or officiate Rules if that person is also a participant at the qualifying site.
One Ball Rule: Optional Condition as prescribed in Appendix I is in effect.
Clubs: Grooves - Optional Condition is in effect (See Decision 4-1/1)
Footwear: It is a condition at all qualifying sites unless otherwise indicated by an asterisk on this entry application that shoes with traditionally-designed spikes (regardless of composition, i.e., ceramic, plastic, etc.) or spikes, regardless of design, comprised either entirely or partially of metal (if such metal may come in contact with the course) are prohibited during the stipulated round.
