Handicap Guidelines
The NSW Junior Championships (both Boys and Girls Divisions) are open events and any player aged 13-17 Years who meets the handicap criteria as indicated below is eligble to participate.
Juniors who turn 18 years of age between 6th July 2021 and 6th December 2021 are also eligible for a special invitation into this event. To apply for this special invitation, please email JNJG Tournament Manager Dale Hughes.
Boys Division
GA Handicap Index Limit for Interstate and Overseas Boys entering the NSW Boys Championships:
Handicap limit of 8 (regardless of age)
GA Handicap Index Limit for NSW / ACT Boys entering the NSW Boys Championships:
17 Years: Handicap limit of 12
16 Years: Handicap limit of 16
15 Years: Handicap limit of 20
14 Years: Handicap limit of 24
13 Years: Handicap limit of 28
Girls Division
GA Handicap Index Limit for Interstate and Overseas Girls entering the NSW Junior Girls Championships:
Handicap limit of 12 (regardless of age)
GA Handicap Index Limit for NSW Girls entering the NSW Girls Championships:
17 Years: Handicap limit of 15
16 Years: Handicap limit of 20
15 Years: Handicap limit of 25
14 Years: Handicap limit of 30
13 Years: Handicap limit of 35
NSW / ACT Boys and Girls aged 12 Years and Under must register for the 2021 JNJG 12 Years and Under State Age Championships to be held at Penrith GC.
