Event Format

18 Holes Stroke Play

Players to advance to Championship:

  • Junior Division (15-18):  Number of Qualifiers TBD. (2017 Champion Exemption:  Jeremy Summerson)
    • Play will be from the Blue Tees - (6,000 yards)
  • Sub-Junior Division (12-14):  Number of Qualifiers TBD. (2017 Champion Exemption: Graham Gaenzle)
    • Play will be from the White Tees - (5,565 yards)
  • Ties will be broken by the USGA Tie Breaking Formula (Matching of Cards)

 

Schedule of Events

  • Player Registration opens at 6:30 AM
  • Tee Times begin at 7:30 AM 
  • Scoring, Lunch, and Qualifiers determined immediately following play

 

Caddies

  • Caddies are allowed
  • However, they must be 18 & under

 

Pairings

  • Tee times will be provided approximately a week before the event
  • Players will be paired randomly within their respected age division
  • Tee times will begin at 7:30 am going off of Hole #1

 

Range

There is no driving range on property at Silver Lake CC.

 

Food Services

  • Lunch is included in the entry fee for all players.  Please only one lunch per player. 
  • *Caddies lunches are NOT included in entry fee and must be paid for separately.*

 

Parents

Parents of the Jr. and Sub Jr.  Boys Must Follow the RDGA Junior Tournament Spectator Rules at all Times.

  • Parents are more than Welcome to be a spectator, but are not allowed to give advice during the round. 
  • Cheering is allowed but NO coaching or giving advice is allowed by spectators.
  • Stay at least 30 yards away from all players and stay in the rough.
  • Spectators must walk, unless a valid medical reason is provided.

Refund Policy

Refunds of tournament entry fees will be made in accordance with the following rules:

  1. If the player withdraws BEFORE the registration deadline, he/she will be granted a refund of the full entry, minus the $5.00 credit card processing fee. (The refund will be credited back to the players card).

 

  1. If the player withdraws from a tournament AFTER the registration closes, no refund will be granted.

 

RDGA Code of Conduct

The RDGA and its member clubs believe that participation in RDGA amateur events is a privilege that includes responsibilities.

 

Contestants must be amateurs and members in good standing at an RDGA club. They must adhere to all RDGA tournament requirements including Handicap Index, age, gender (for selected events), appropriate golf attire, mandatory use of riding carts at selected events, and local host club rules that apply to players during a competition.

 

USGA Rules will govern all play in RDGA events including Local Rules noted on the Notice to Players at each competition. All players should familiarize themselves with Section I.  Etiquette: Behavior on the Course in the current Rules of Golf book.
