Sub-Junior Boys: Top 6 in the Sub-Jr. Point Standings

Event Format

  • 18 Holes of Stroke Play
  • Team scores will be calculated by taking the best 5 out of 6 individual scores within each team.

 

Tees

  • Junior Boys - Blue/White Tees (5,917 yards)
  • Sub-Jr. Boys - Yellow/Red Tees (5,323 yards)

 

Schedule of Events

  • Player Registration opens at 8:00AM
  • Shotgun Start begins at 9:00AM 
  • Scoring, Lunch, and Awards immediately following play

 

Pairings

Pairings will be created based on:

  • Point Standings
  • Team (RDGA, BDGA, or SDGA)
  • Age Division

Each pairing will be part of a Shotgun start at 9:00am

 

Range

The range will be open to all players beginning at 8:00am and is included as part of the invitation.

 

Food Services

Lunch buffet is included for all players after the round.  Please only one lunch per player. 

 

Parents

Parents of the Jr. and Sub Jr. Boys Must Follow the RDGA Junior Tournament Spectator Rules at all Times.

  • Parents are more than Welcome to be a spectator, but are not allowed to give advise during the round. 
  • Cheering is allowed but NO coaching or giving advice is allowed by spectators.
  • Stay at least 30 yards away from all players and stay in the rough.
  • Spectators must walk unless a valid medical reason is provided.

Refund Policy

Refunds of tournament entry fees will be made in accordance with the following rules:

  1. If the player withdraws BEFORE the registration deadline, he/she will be granted a refund of the full entry, minus the $10.00 credit card processing fee. (The refund will be credited back to the players card).

 

  1. If the player withdraws from a tournament AFTER the registration closes, no refund will be granted.

 

RDGA Code of Conduct

The RDGA and its member clubs believe that participation in RDGA amateur events is a privilege that includes responsibilities.

 

Contestants must be amateurs and members in good standing at an RDGA club. They must adhere to all RDGA tournament requirements including Handicap Index, age, gender (for selected events), appropriate golf attire, mandatory use of riding carts at selected events, and local host club rules that apply to players during a competition.

 

USGA Rules will govern all play in RDGA events including Local Rules noted on the Notice to Players at each competition. All players should familiarize themselves with Section I.  Etiquette: Behavior on the Course in the current Rules of Golf book.
