TGC is excited to offer Social Members and Full Golf Members the opportunity to play in a Bi-Weekly Ladies' Wednesday evening golf league.  This is a great opportunity for our Social Lady Members and Full Golf Lady Members to experience a fun atmosphere in a golf league setting. The patio, bar/grill will be open following your league round for your enjoyment.

 

Wednesday Night League Details

 

• The league will be limited to the first 36 participants to sign up.
• The league will be bi-weekly and be a total of 9 weeks for each league.
• Ladies will begin on May 4th at 5:30 PM and conclude on August 24th.
• The cost to participate for Social Members is $35 for 9 holes (cart fee is included) per week for 9 weeks ($315.00).
• The League fee is $50.00 for Social and Full Golf Members.
• Full Golf Members do not pay green fees. Full Members must pay the league fee.
• All green and league fees will be billed to your house account after you have signed up.

 

The league fee will be used for the dinner and prizes at the end of the league.

 

League Format & Scoring

 

Each week of League we will play a step aside scramble format. Each twp person team will pair up with another team, each player from the foursome will tee off, you will then choose the best ball of the four. The player’s ball you choose to play will step aside for that shot and the 3 players will all hit from that spot on the course. You then take the best shot from the 3 and the player's shot you choose will then step aside and the 3 other players play from that spot on the course. Once you reach the green all 4 players will putt from the best spot on the green.

 

Each twosome of the four-person team will earn points for the night based on Eagle, birdie, par, and bogey. 20 points for a hole in one, 5 points for Eagle, 3 points for birdie, 2 points for par, 1 point for a bogey, and 0 points for any score above a bogey. 

 

For example, if team 1 and Team 2 play together and make 9 pars, Team 1 will earn 18 points as will players Team 2 for that week.

Questions and Answers

 

Q: Can I play a few holes or a practice round prior to my league round?

 

A: Full Members are allowed too, but Social Members will not be permitted prior to your round on league night.

 

Q: Can I use the range prior to my league?

 

A: Yes, you can hit balls 30 minutes prior to your league start time but not after your league round. There are no range restrictions for Full Members.

 

Q: If I am a Social League Member can I play in the TGC Member events throughout the season?

 

A: No, Social League Members will only be permitted to play in the Bi-Weekly Wednesday night league for the period of 9 weeks.

 

Q: Do the league fees or league green fees count toward my monthly minimums?

 

A: No.

 

Q: Is bag storage or the use of a locker available to Social League Members?

 

A: Lockers will not be available to Social League Members. Social Members may purchase bag storage, the cost for bag storage during the golf season is $100.00

 

Q: If I play in the Social League will I still be permitted to play the four rounds of golf at the member guest rate that are included in the Social Membership?

 

A: Yes, you will be permitted to play up to four rounds throughout the season at the member guest rate. A round of golf is either 9 or 18 holes.

 

Q: If I am a Social 9, Social 9-18, or Social 18 member, will the rounds count against my membership? 

 

A: No, the league rounds will not count toward your membership rounds, but your prepaid round cannot be used for the league. You will have to pay the green fees of $315.00 and the $50.00 League fee.
