2021 Stroke Play Championship “B” COVID-19 Procedures

During this time of the coronavirus pandemic, please adhere to the following government and local restrictions:

Existing Restrictions In Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic

  • ●  Anyone who is in voluntary or mandated quarantine, those who have the virus, or those who have been in close contact with someone who has the virus must not register for or attend the tournament until it is safe for them to do so according to guidelines from the CDC.

  • ●  Locker Rooms are available to change in. Each player will have their own dedicated locker.

  • ●  The club asks that all unvaccinated players wear a mask while in the clubhouse, locker room

  • ●  Players must maintain a distance of at least 6 feet from others. Please refrain from close contact, sharing golf equipment, or practicing any other close contact that may seem disconcerting to players and members of the community.

o Please be especially mindful of this while waiting on each and every teeing area and while on the green. Only one player should be on the teeing area at a time.

  • ●  Players are to maintain social distancing while checking in, warming up prior to their round and during scorecard collection.

  • ●  Players will not exchange scorecards with playing partners, nor do they have to hand them in after completion of play. At least one member from each group will read aloud each players’ hole-by-hole score after their round is finished.

  • ●  Players are not permitted to enter neighboring properties to retrieve lost golf balls.

  • ●  Players may use the bathrooms in the clubhouse and locker room. There are NO restrooms

    located on the course.

  • ●  At check-in, a player will receive a zip lock bag with a scorecard, pencil, and tees. There will be a hand sanitizer dispenser at check in.

  • ●  As there will be caddies, Please let your caddies rake the bunkers and take out the flag sticks.

  • ●  If any player attends a tournament and subsequently experiences coronavirus symptoms or tests positive, we ask that they contact the WMGA as soon as possible.

    If a player fails to adhere to these mandated restrictions, they may be asked to leave and may be denied future participation in WMGA tournaments.
