Notice to Players
- Play is governed by the 2019 Rules of Golf, the 2019 Alberta Golf Standard Local Rules, Terms of the Competition and, where applicable, by the following Local Rules.
Rules on the host club scorecard do not apply.
Unless otherwise noted, penalty for breach of a Local Rule or Condition is: two strokes
- Practice - No practice on the six hole loop course (adjacent to #10) during competition days.
Penalty: Disqualification.
- Tees – Alberta Golf White Tee Markers.
- Immovable Obstructions – All rail fences adjacent to cart paths (Immovable Obstructions) are part of the IO.
All roads and paths on the course (such as the cart path through the waste area on #9), even if not artificially-surfaced, are treated as immovable obstructions from which free relief is allowed under Rule 16.1. Local Rule F-17 is in effect.
- Waste Areas (General Area) – The prepared and not prepared areas of sand on these holes are part of the General Area and not bunkers: Left side of #4 fairway, Right side of #5 fairway, Left and right sides of fairway #7, Right side of #8 fairway up to blue line indicating bunker, Front of #9 Teeing Area, Left and right of fairway #10, Right side of #11 fairway, Left side of #12 fairway, Left side of #13 fairway, front of Teeing Area and right side of #15 fairway, left and right of #18 fairway. Local Rule C-2 is in effect.
The edge of the bunker separating it from the general area (waste area) to the right of hole #8 and left of #18 is defined by the blue line painted on the sand.
- Playoff – A tie for the Championship will be decided by a hole-by-hole playoff on hole #18, then #18, then #10, #18, etc. repeated as necessary, until a winner is decided.
- Scoring – Alberta Golf Tent by #18 green. (Tent is a Temporary Immovable Obstruction, Free Relief under Local Rule F – 23).
